The start of this game was a vast improvement in attitude from the players from last week and the Tigers had numerous opportunities to take an early lead.However luck eluded them and frustration was creeping in until Alex Minchel broke the deadlock with a deflected shot that looped over the keeper and 1-0 at half time reflected that the Tigers, although dominating the game,had played well within themselves for most of the half.As usual a rousing speech from Mr Barter restored a sense of urgency,particularly working the ball in triangles out of tight situations and 1-0 quickly became 2-0 thanks to a well rehearsed short corner allowing Charles McCall to finish well on the post.The Tigers again switched off and Penguins pressure saw a thundering repost and 2-1 with ten minutes to go.Rather than panicking they returned to working the ball wide down the right and the subsequent cross was dispatched superbly by Adam Ball to settle nerves and 3-1 was the final score.As always a big thank you to Peter Barter and our umpire Luke Helmer.
