Match Report(s)

Submitted by Locky

3-0 to Worthing.

Another sterling effort from the 5's. Lead by their illustrious leader James "T" Collette. Our continuing mission to seek out new opponents saw us come up against Crawley at home.

We fielded for the most part our usual team. The gospels up front with an experience yet slightly unfit old Worthing player who managed to creep out from underneath the ever tighten grip of the "Thumb" (AKA Her in doors). To lead our attack with a combination of Speed and skill that left Crawley fighting for survival. This attack was supported by the midfield run by James T Collette with Al the tax man and Wolverine and Mark offering strong and confident support. Us at the back didn't have a great deal to do. When on the rare occasion the midfield where overrun the stalwart defense held the Crawley Creepers at bay. Joe proving his worth every week with more speedy saves. Mags, Locky and Ian proving there's more to hockey than speed. The young Crawley team finding it hard to gain access to the "D". We used our tractor beam to draw the attackers towards us then like a thief in the night stole the ball like candy from a baby. Giving back to the Midfield to strike again.

Team:- Lighting Joe, Locky, Mags, Ian Birbeck, Benny Chips, Dan Franch, Marc Fish, James T Collette, The gospels, Wolverine, Jnr Jnr Jnr Locky and the Tax Man.

Scorers Jnr Locky, A Gospel and A nother (Wasn't watching that one) Sorry.
