5 - 3 Win... against Penguins

Local derby game played in good spirit. Both teams eager for a win but on the day worthing came out on top. A good all round team effort. The defence looking good with lighting Joe in goal, each week he gets better almost saving 2 flicks this week both he came very close to saving. Both not his fault. One due to a foot on the line by the otherwise speedy locky and the other well jury is still out on that one. Apart from that the defensive team made up of Locky, Mags, Ian, Mark, Lighting Joe and the "Tax Man" are proving a force to be reckoned with.

Worthing midfield worked well with the forwards, providing them with numerous chances to score. Aaron Chapman was as prolific as always running their defence into the ground. Simon and Arron working well attacking down the right side and the gospels with new comer jamie working the left and linking up with the midfield. This team each week improves both in skill and team moral. Making us some what of an enigma in the league. Thanks as always to the captain who making up off the pitch what he lack in skill on the pitch. Cheers James. Am i still selected for next week ???

Welcome back to Billy "the Axe man" Warren after i think a 10 year absence he's back using his trade mark skills to aid us in our win. Not sure where he got the nickname from!!!proving an essential part of the team, but for how long?

Big thanks to both Umpires for doing a 16:00 game in the dark. A thankless task with little reward. Cheers James Godber and the Giant from Peguins.
