An accident on the A24 meant that the Tigers had a rushed warm up for this game and a fragmented display against a young but skillful Horsham side followed.With this in mind it is no surprise that the outstanding player for this match was Sam Gill at right back.His commitment in defence was total and as the game progressed and Charles McCall was injured, he took on a more attacking roll with aplomb.The positives in attack were the growing maturity of Adam Ball being rewarded with the Tigers only goal of the first half and Ben Harvey showing some good stick work and positional play, that coupled with Adams unselfish passing, saw him add another two in the second half.Once again the efforts of Peter Barter on the pitch and through training were clearly evident and a big thank you to Mike Shreeve for coming across from Steyning to umpire.
