What could have been a fragmented game with a couple of Tigers missing and the Wolves manager on international duties, turned into a super match.With Luke Barker and Jo Groom making big contributions on their debuts for the Tigers the game was evenly matched from the start.The Tigers lacked their normal cohesion and final ball delivery, while the Wolves were keen to counter attack and it took a superb performance from Alex Minchell, playing out of position, to keep them in check.The Tigers ended the half 1-0 up thanks to a better build up and Alex Mason was finally able to beat an inspired stand-in keeper, Luc Hinton. The evergreen Kathy Minchell rallied the Wolves in the second half and with more luck the scores could have been leveled, before the Tigers again rounded off a good move with a well taken debut goal for Joe Groom, to make it 2-0.
