After all the glorious weather we had for the previous weeks, we turned up on Saturday to grey overcast skies.

Worthing got off to a bad start, resulting in us becoming 0-1 down within minutes. As Worthing get back to the centre, it seemed that the team had all regrouped and refocused, because the rest of the match went flawlessly.

After Chichester’s swift goal Worthing also put a quick one away after a short corner was awarded to Toni. It was won after a first strike by Andie making the score 1-1.

Another goal was awarded to our side before the whistle for half time bringing our score up to 2-1.

At half time we discussed our positives and negatives of the game so far, and overall we decided to change our formation on pitch. After this slight change to the team we claimed 3 more goals, pushing our final score to 5-1. Kirsty was awarded a penalty flick, but unluckily it hit the post and rebounded. After that our third goal was scored by Toni from a strong pass from Andie. Toni scored another soon after, after a pass from Kim. Our final goal resulted in with Shelley using her speed to power it in.
