I really thought we were in for a tough game against E.G. but, wow, 0-0 and they had 2 adults on pitch who were both defending & attacking. However, it was a very even match. In the first half the girls all played really well, keeping to their positions, attacking 7 defending so well. We had 7 of the Llamas & then 3 players from the 3's Georgia, Ellie & Lily who subbed on & off (thank you Liz for organising that). Marlies (our other adult) who'd just played for 3's was our sweeper. Sian & Breanna defended really well, clearing the ball out to midfield away from the circle, especially when defending short corners.

The second half we attacked more & had some shots at goal but didn't manage to score. Claire, Angelica & Catherine attacked well with Nicole, Romey, Georgia, Ellie & Lily supporting well in midfield. Unfortunately we have no matches for 3 weeks, but hopefully will get a couple of friendlies before our next league match Nov 14th. E.G. kindly provided 2 umpires & we'll do the same when they come to us.  Many thanks to Mums for your support & encouragement.
