Disastrous result!! Well, a big loss but not as bad as last year when we played them. As their Captain said, they all play together for school every week & again for club. This week we at least had 5 who'd played together last week. The 2's played before us & Holly, Michaela, & Sophie played again for us, subbing on & off. Thanks Andy for organising that. We were under a lot of attack most of the first half, so Gaby, Breanna Sian & I were under a lot of pressure. There was some great tackling & hassling from our defence though, & with many shots at goal they scored 3. The 2nd half saw us attacking more though with both their adults on pitch there wasn't much chance of scoring, though we did have a short corner awarded & had some shots at goal, which didn't get in. Unfortunately, when they came back on the attack, there was a lot of chasing back to defend & our girls got tired & became very vulnerable. I managed to save some goals but I'm afraid I let in 5 more.  Many thanks to Mel Andrews for umpiring with our new umpire, Paul Davis.
