During the first half of the match Worthing made the game difficult for themselves and being unbeaten so far they did not want to lose this match. The first half was reasonably close but Worthing managed to score two late goals just before half time making the score 2-0 (one from a penalty flick by Jamie Mantell).  After a team talk Worthing managed to play better in the second half scoring 4 more goals as Crowborough began to tire. Crowborough’s umpire tired of constant complaining from a Crowborough player issued a yellow card for decent, within a minute the Crowborough goalkeeper was sent off the pitch for kicking the ball outside of his D, and before game restarted the previously yellow carded Crowborough player was given a red card from the sideline and told to leave the side of the pitch after for more arguing with the umpire.  The score at full time was 6-0.
