After a run of 16 points out of 18 it all came crashing down to a strong and experienced Chichester team who were below us in the table. The first half was fairly even with Chichester scoring once and Worthing having the opportunity to equalise with 3 short corners, which unfortunately came to nothing.  However a few manpower and positional changes in the second half did not improve things and eventually Worthing conceded a further 5 goals.

Good performances, however, from our junior contingent, especially Marc Hinton in goal, with 3 outstanding saves in the first half, and hardworking efforts from Conor Dinning, Jake High, Ben Harvey & Jack Guy.

Only one more game to go against Crowborough, and a single point would ensure us of exactly a mid table finish which would be a great effort from a constantly changing side throughout the season due availability and elevation of players to higher sides. Well-done team!
