A fantastic result by a composite 6th X1 and Wolves side against a more experienced Lewes side of seasoned veterans and older juniors.

The Worthing team comprised of only 3 regular 6th X1 players, but add to that the experience of Luke Helmer, and the 10 terriers from the Wolves who produced their best display of the season. This was the first senior league game for all the Wolves and they all raised their game with constant running and tackling, and showed great levels of skill, which surprised their older opponents. Also a great performance in goal from new county junior keeper Marc Hinton.

So watch this space, in a few years these are the guys who will be challenging for places in our senior Men’s 1st & 2nd X1`s
