The fact that the Chichester coach apologised to some of our parents in the clubhouse probably best summed up a very frustrating day. The Tigers played good hockey and had chances running into double figures but were thwarted by a very good adult Keeper and adult defender. The decision to Give Josh House his chance in goal proved very satisfying when he pulled of three good saves in the first half and an excellent one on one in the second half. In the context of the game it showed how a good adult keeper can dominate a game, but how enjoyable it is to see a very young one developing so quickly.
Tigers dominated the game and only succumbed to two very late chances when desperately pushing for the result.
Heads should not drop after this performance for as in our previous two games the standard of hockey being played is very good and results will come.
Thanks to Mungo and umpire Luke Helmer
