After a slow start The Tigers were into their stride and putting pressure on the Penguins goal. Several good saves by the Penguin keeper kept them at bay until a signature run down the right by Ellis Woolley found Matt Isaacs on the post to dive in for one of three goals for him today. To their credit the Penguins did counter attack but Luke Barker at right back and Sam Wookey in a new role at sweeper, together with the fast improving Tom Gurney, were excellent and kept the penguins out. Leo French and Ciaran Dinning worked well in the mid field and more pressure down the right saw another Tigers goal. 

2-0 at half time was comfortable but not game over. The most pleasing aspect of the second half was the way the team played for each other, no better typified than by Dalton Tessier who on three separate occasion found himself one on one with the keeper but played the simple square ball for tap in goals for his team mates. This spread through the team and some of the passing into space was superb. Josh House made a couple of good saves, in particular a one on one stick save and this knocked the stuffing out of the Penguins allowing Sam Wookey to finish a well taken short corner. Alex Watkins added a couple, the ever reliable Alex Minchel grabbed one and the Tigers ran out 8-0 victors.
