With a few guest players joining the Wolves the Tigers had to work hard in the
first half and new boys Kieran, Adam and Marc started well. The wolves also had early chances and Brad House and Tom Gurney were solid at the back. Matt Issacs worked tirelessly down the right and his cover defence against a strong Wolves left mid was excellent. Rhys Thompson moved up front and created chances and 3-0 at half time was a comfortable but not commanding lead. Josh House made several fine saves in the second half and Alex Watkins was diving around at the other end trying to add to his tally of 20 for the season so far. This game was more about seeing how the Tigers team for next year would evolve and it was pleasing to see players stepping up. Leo French and Cieran Dinning had good games in midfield and 5-0 was comfortable before some late Wolves pressure brought them a deserved goal and a 5-1 final score.
Thanks as always to umpire Luke Helmer.
