This week we had a late pushback against Flippers.  It was to be a match hoped to be more even than any match before.  Wolves won the pushback and launched the attack immediately.  The passing was good but yet again Wolves seem to have difficulties getting past the adult defender.  However, on several occasions Wolves managed to defeat him only to be too hasty in front of goal and pushing it wide.  Flippers got the goals on the counter attack catching our defence disorganised.  On several occasions Luke Binstead made some good tackles in defence.  Flippers took their senior player off to give us a sporting chance but Wolves finishing touch remained illusive despite some excellent play from Ben Gosden, Marc Hinton, Adam Hart, Gareth Middleton, Callum Rudrum, Kieran O’Brian and the rest of the team.  Well Done.
