Worthing Wolves 1             Worthing Tigers    5

Submitted By: Yolanda Hinton

This weeks game between the club’s 2 development teams the managers had decided to play this game as training match to check out players for the Tigers for next season.  Marc Hinton, Kieran O’Brian and Adam Hart played with the Tigers as they are in line to move up and Ellis Woolley, Alex Minchell played with the Wolves.  The game was very enjoyable to watch with both teams attacking and defending the goal.  Wolves only goal came from an intercepted ball from deep in their own defence by Sam Gill who took it the length of the pitch, leaving the Tigers lost for moves, playing the ball into the ‘D’ where Daniel Hulme finally found the back of the goal.  He had several attempts earlier in the match but each time saw the ball go wide or cleared by the keeper or the defence.  Tigers played extremely well and the 3 Wolves again excelled with Marc Hinton slotting 2 goals past our keeper and Adam Hart scoring as well.  I think we ought to keep these players as they are now realising what that thing at each end of the pitch is for!  Again thank you Wolves for putting you heart and soul into this game.  Keep persevering and you will get there!

Thank you to Ellis, Alex and Sam for playing with the Wolves team and making the game fun and a good practice.  Thanks also to our umpires for being fair and consistent.
