Wolves faced a weakened yet strong Tigers team on Saturday.  The match started with tigers taking possession of the ball and pushing up into our half.  The boys battled hard to move the ball out of the danger zone and Greg had has hands full keeping track of the ball and the rest of the team.  Bryan Lock assisting me on the sidelines was put into midfield to give some direction.  The boys kept their shape well and during the first half had a couple of attempts at goal.  Half time score 7 – 0. 

The second half after an encouraging talk saw the Wolves pushing Tigers more into the their own half.  Some really good passes emerged on the left and Wolves managed to put the ball past the keeper through Adam Hart.  Confident that they can score goals Wolves battled on.  Tigers, still strong despite moving players out of position managed to get a few more goals.  Luc Hinton had a busy time making save after save but got beaten.  Wolves pushed up again and with some clever passing assisted by Bryan Lock saw Ryan Churcher push the ball passed the keeper.  It was a hard but interesting and fair game thanks to the umpires.  Player of the match:  Kieran O’Brian.
