The Worthing Hockey Club U12 boys played away on Sunday against Lewes Hockey Club and there were a list of firsts ticked off.
Split into two teams Tommie made his goal keeping debut for the Development team while Morgan took up his duties in goal for the Experienced team.
Team Experienced narrowly lost both matches 2-1 to Lewes – both really close matches that could have gone either way. Goals from Simeon and Ben respectively.
For the Development Team there was a win for Worthing and a win for Lewes with Josh N scoring his first under 12 goal.
For many in the Development team it was their first experience of U12 hockey and they all should be very proud of their really fantastic performances. Well done to all of the players representing WHC.
