Worthing Mens 1st XI continued their strong home form in the new South East Division 1 West league on Saturday with an 8-2 win over Crawley. Following up on their home win over Hailsham earlier in the month, Ellis grabbed a hat-trick, Marc and Miles 2 each with Luc also on the scoresheet as the team moved to a mid table position with a solid record of 2 home wins and 2 away defeats after 4 games. The new league structure replaces the previous Kent / Sussex regional league with Worthing now playing teams from Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire introducing new opposition to the club.
